AUDITION FOR NU SASS
Nu Sass works to support marginalized genders in the arts in DC, and works to provide a safe, accessible working space for our team.
Nu Sass employs gender-blind casting and anti-discrimination hiring.
Marginalized gender encompasses any non-cis male identities.
Nu Sass follows the Not In Our House guidelines.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, February 4th 2p-7p and Monday, February 5th 7p-10p.
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, February 10 1p-4p.
First read is scheduled for Sunday, February 18, time TBD.

Audition slots will be 10 minutes each. Auditions will be reading from sides that will be emailed when your time is confirmed.
Video auditions will be accepted for those who cannot attend in person

Director: Aria Velz
Rehearsals: Evening and weekends, based on availability, 1 to 3 times a week before tech. Holidays off.
Performances: October 25 - November 16.
Understudies/Swings will have guaranteed, planned performances.

Vealtninc Husz - Male Presenting. 30s-50s. Hungarian, Cinematographer, Lover, Outspoken, Marxist, Anxious. Lost one eye, and wears an eye patch. $1,000 stipend.
Zillah Katz - Any Marginalized Gender. Any Age. Activist, American, Jewish, Angry, Political, Anarchist, Liberal, Progressive, Upset, Furious, Paranoid. $1,000 stipend.
Emil Traum - Any Gender. Any Age. German, Communist, Communist, Dogmatic. $500 stipend.
Rosa Malek - Any Marginalized Gender. Any Age. Communist, Outspoken, Pragmatic, Activist, Passionate, Intelligent, German. $500 stipend.
Die Alta - Female. 60+. German, Haggard, Hungry. Maybe a Ghost. Maybe a Memory. $500 stipend.
4 understudies/swings will be cast as well, and will have guaranteed performances. $400 stipend.
