SEEKING A DIRECTOR FOR SPRING 2027 PRODUCTION OF HAPPY BY ROBERT CAISLEY
We are looking for a director to join our team as we produce the black comedy Happy. We would like to sign a director by the end of October, hold auditions in mid November, begin rehearsals in December, and open in mid March.
Rehearsals will be held based on team availability between 1 and 3 times a week, evenings and weekends. Production meetings will be held monthly.
Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at Van Ness Main Street, a found theatre space in a store front.
The production will be Helen Hayes eligible.
$1,000 stipend.

We are accepting professional resumes and show submissions.
Scripts should be 1-6 actors, and between 60 and 180 minutes.
Preference is given to marginalized gender directors, scripts written by marginalized gender playwrights, and directors who embrace gender blind casting.
